We were invited to bring our
alligator, "Uncle Al", from Ace
Ventura: When Nature Calls to be on
the Discovery Channel's new show,
Pop Nation that was being shot in
Austin, Texas.
We spent all day Wednesday, June 15,
2005, building a 17' crate to house
the alligator in for the trip as
seen in the pictures below. |

Thursday evening, June 16, 2005 me,
my son and a friend headed out for
our 1,200 mile adventure to Austin
Texas. As we were getting ready to
load him up, a wild Dove flew into
the garage and landed on the
alligators head. |

We drove straight through (over 20
hours) to get to Austin. Below are
some pictures of the film crew and
us taken when we arrived in front of
the convention center Saturday
morning, June 18, 2005. |
